Ann was first discovered while she was performing at an event for Vogue's fashion in her group. Within one week, editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. In the following weeks, Ann began to become one of the sought after models in the United States, appearing on the covers of the top fashion magazines including Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among many other publications. Ann began modeling for Max Factor Revlon in Europe as well as Japan for Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two successful years.
